Bridging the Gaps was written by a West Virginian historian and author, Randy Allan. This book covers key dates and events in Lemuel Chenoweth’s life, his covered bridge projects among other works, his family, and key events in Randolph County pre and post Civil War.
The Lemuel Chenoweth House stays open because of generous donors
who want the Chenoweth legacy to be preserved.
Currently, we are faced with replacing the entire roof on the house.
